The job goes to whoever answers first, and your quote is still in the truck. Put your own numbers in and see what a faster turnaround would be worth to your business. We show all the working.
Free, no sign-up. It runs in your browser and we never see what you type.free-tool-quote-lag-plan.md — trades outreach landing page, deliberately unlinked from site nav/footers (linking it from tools.html would push the quoting example past its 2-mention cap there; team to decide placement). The win-rate lift is a user-set slider, not a claimed industry statistic — the research found no citable AU figure, so the page asserts nothing it can't prove. No data captured (pending the anonymous-counter decision). The quoting-example copy cap is interpreted as not applying to a page whose entire subject is that example.0 extra jobs a month, taking your win rate from 35% to 38%.
What's left after the cost of doing the extra work.
Not sure how far to push it? One extra point on today's rate keeps $0 a month, three points $0, five $0.
That's before you count the evenings. The assembly part of that time is what a tool takes over. Checking and sending stays with a person in your office.
extra jobs / month = quotes per week × 4.33 weeks × (improved win rate − today's win rate) ÷ 100
revenue won / month = extra jobs × average job value
kept / month = revenue won × your gross margin
hours / month = quotes per week × 4.33 × hours per quote
Things it leaves out: seasonality, margin differences between job types, and jobs you'd have won anyway. We looked for a solid Australian statistic on how quote speed changes win rates and couldn't find one, which is why the lift is a slider you set instead of a number we quote at you.
We build you a tool that drafts each quote from your price list and the similar jobs you've already done. Someone in your office checks it and sends it the same day. The price is $5K, fixed before we start, and it's working on your real data within two weeks. If that's all you need, stop there. If the whole team should use it, that's $10K all up, and $15K gets it talking to the software you already run.
This page works the way our client work does. It runs in your browser, there's no sign-up, and we keep nothing you type. If it isn't worth building, we say so.
